Fetal Size at the Halfway Mark
  • Length: At this stage, your baby measures about 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) from crown to rump.
  • Weight: Your baby weighs around 10.6 ounces (300 grams).
Organ Development
  • Heartbeat: Your baby's heart has been beating for weeks, but now you may be able to hear it during prenatal check-ups.
  • Lungs: Although not fully developed, your baby's lungs are making steady progress.
  • Digestive System: The digestive system is taking shape, preparing for the intake of milk or formula after birth.
Senses and Movements
  • Sensory Perception: Your baby's senses are becoming more refined, with the ability to hear sounds from the outside world.
  • Movements: By this point, you may feel your baby's movements, known as "quickening," as they become more coordinated.
Week 20 marks a significant milestone in your pregnancy journey—the halfway point.
Your baby's size and development are remarkable, and they are becoming more in tune with the world outside the womb.

Yesterday we officially made it to the halfway point!!😍❤️😁 Ya'll, I'm half way to meeting my baby girl!!! I get to see her in 3 days on the anatomy scan🥺🎀👣 She's been kicking like crazy the past couple days😁
