Anyone else dealing with bleeding gums ? This started around 30 weeks I believe. I did try coconut oil pulling (swishing it around without swallowing) and it helps when I’m consistent.
Hormonal fluctuations, especially elevated progesterone, can increase gum sensitivity, and this condition is most common during the second trimester.
Maintaining regular oral hygiene, using a soft-bristle toothbrush, and considering antimicrobial mouthwash under dental guidance can help manage and prevent gum issues.
If sore and bleeding gums persist or worsen despite good oral hygiene, it's advisable to consult with a dentist for professional evaluation and guidance.

Have any of you experienced changes in your gums/teeth? Ever since I got pregnant I noticed my gums becoming more sensitive and swollen and bleeding every time I brush my teeth. It’s only getting worse the farther along I get 😭 I have braces so I’m very good with keeping my teeth clean and I’ve never experienced this before until now.

Any one having problems with teeth or gum pain🤕😬😤 Pregnancy causes a rush of hormones and increases blood flow thus causing swollen gums and sore teeth. Pregnant women are more susceptible to gum disease and sensitive teeth because they react differently to bacteria. This increases plaque build-up and potential damage to teeth.
