Polycystic ovary: symptoms and treatments

Polycystic ovary syndrome, also known as Stein-Leventhal syndrome, affects 5-10% of women, mostly young.

  • It is a hormonal disorder in which numerous benign cysts form on the ovaries.
  • The main symptoms are the absence or disturbance of menstrual cycles and ovulation, high secretion of male hormones, weight gain, and even obesity.
  • Usually, an ultrasound is enough to confirm the diagnosis.
  • If you find yourself in this situation, your gynecologist will suggest several treatments, depending on your wishes for a child.
  • The goal will be to restore your hormonal balance and fertility.

I personally don’t, but I do know there’s a diet that helps out a lot with pcos symptoms and stuff and should in theory help you conceive. It all looked pretty healthy so I think it would work with your diabetes as well. There’s also a holistic brand called Acetrophypure that is supposed to help a lot with conceiving. But aside from all of that I would work along side an Obgyn to see what might work best for you

Well girls, I haven't been on in a while. I unfortunately had to go on birth control because I have polycystic ovarian syndrome. And I have to stay on birth control for 4 months and then go back to see if I have endometriosis 😞. I honestly have no hope of ever having kids, but I'm not going to stop trying .
