Length of parental leave for the 3rd baby

What is the law on parental leave in the case of the arrival of a third child in the home?

• The duration of parental leave for the third child is the same as for the second child, i.e. a maximum of 3 years.
• You can perfectly share this period with the father, which is one of the conditions for receiving benefits from the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales.
• Since 2015, parents have the choice between the classic 3-year leave or a shorter leave, of a maximum of one year, called "the increased PreParE".
• This option comes with a much more advantageous compensation.
