Massaging baby's tummy to prevent gas

Your baby has a lot of gas, and it can cause very painful colic. We suggest you try massaging:

  • By massaging your baby, you will help the gas evacuate from the intestines.
  • It is advisable not to manipulate your child if they are right in the middle of a colic attack, as the pain is too intense, and your touch may be too much to bear.
  • During a calm moment, practice the massage directly on the skin or through a thin cloth.
  • Start the massage by making clockwise circles with a little pressure.

Does any experienced moms have any advice on what I can do to get babygirl to poop? I have given her the little remedies gas drops I massage her belly clockwise. Her pediatrician okayed me to try a little sugar water and it has worked the first time she was having tummy issues so I stopped giving it to her but now she had only one bowel movement yesterday and it was a blowout diaper.

Put her in a warm bath and do the leg thing! It's usually pretty successful for me
