Hello everyone. I made this page because my daughter is pregnant for the first time and I wanted to go through this with her. I have a question about delivery. She lives 5 hours away and I have to take time off of work. Im getting so many different answers and I want to be there for the delivery. Didn’t find out the sex until delivery. Last baby born 3 days before my own birthday. Had a smooth delivery with only 2 pushes but won’t lie and say an epidural was regrettable A LITTLE the healing was a lot faster this time. #virgobaby #icandrinkformybirthday #babynumer2 #myrainbowbabynumber2

Anyone ever went to get an ultrasound and based on baby measurements, your gestation date increased or decreased by a few days? My expected delivery date went from October 11 to October 7th

i am currently 32 weeks pregnant. when it’s time for my delivery, i only want my boyfriend in the room and a day or two to ourselves to spend time with our baby but i have 2 of my family members already inviting themselves to see my baby as soon as i give birth or be there for the delivery which i don’t want because i know for a fact i won’t get my baby back anytime soon. i told them that i want a few days with my newborn to myself but they called me selfish knowing they are being selfish due to their excitement. i will just have to tell the nurses no visitors while im in labor.

Has anyone pumped before their delivery? I have 2 surgeries after delivery. One to get my tubes removed and one for varicose veins. I want a milk supply incase the anesthesia messes with it. I was wandering how to get milk flowing. I tried pumping today and all I got was sore nipples. Any tips?

Ok update: I came in to be monitored at 12:30 for 3 hours now I’m getting sent to labor and delivery. They don’t know if my baby grabbed the umbilical cord a few or it’s wrapped around something. I’m so scared y’all

I plan to exclusively pump & give bottles to my baby. but what do you do if your milk takes a few days to come in after delivery? do you supplement for formula for a few days or what? and how do you know what formula a newborn will take? i’m stressing about this one. i’m just worried he won’t be getting enough out of me the first few days. I do plan on still pumping right after he’s born but I want to make sure he’s fed enough.
