What is the period type pain in early pregnancy?

First time feeling a period type of pain or feeling of a contraction of some sort last night and today. The pain is irregular happens every so often. Does anyone know if this indeed called Braxton hicks? I’m 37 weeks right now and does it mean the baby is getting prepared for delivery? I give birth in 3 weeks

I went for my first ob appointment today after weeks of looking for a ob who takes my type of medical, so at my appointment I find out I'm not 14 weeks and 2 days like I thought I'm 19 weeks and 2 days apparently I got pregnant in early Feb and I had my period but I missed my period March 13th so I took a pregnancy test.

8dpo and I'm super crampy and bloated. Period is due in 5 days. Could be pms, could be early pregnancy. Just have to watch and wait. 😑
