Thinking about going natural this time around but I need the brutal honest truth what’s the worst part and how to manage with the pain

Worst part honestly are the back to back contractions and the crowning (ring of fire). Everything else is a breeze honestly. See what pain options are available besides an epidural.

The ring of fire is no joke but it’s literally the worst 30 secs and then it’s done. Watch videos on the different stages of labor and the different stations the baby will be in. Makes it easier to push when you have reached the optimal time and station. Baby will need minimal effort to come out

So I am 38 weeks and 3 days. Im scheduled to be induced on sunday at 7:30 am. But this weeks I've really been struggling with fibroid pain. I have a 20 cm fibroid at the top of my uterus, and it feels like im being stabbed with a twisting knife. Are there any other moms who have or are currently experiencing this? How do you cope with pain? I've gone to the hospital and talked to my doctor about it, and they just keep saying that it's to be expected, but don't give me anything for it or tips to manage it. It's just extremely painful every time I move, and I've been stuck in bed for 5 days now.

I’m dealing with the same thing, I have a 18cm fibroid at the top of my uterus as well. I’ve been hospitalize 3 times so they can manage the pain. I’m just hoping the pain doesn’t come back.

I’ve heard it’s very painful but I’m not sure, I’ve had the epidural with my last toe pregnancies and will again with this one. I applaud any woman that goes all natural👏🏽👏🏽

I didn’t feel anything honestly. My lower body was deadweight, once baby came they took the epidural out and I was on a pain medicine if I was sore that’s it. I tore for both births and had to get stitches down there but it wasn’t painful at all to me. Just uncomfortable that’s it

Midwife tried to check for dilation today but it was extremely painful. She said it hurt because the baby is sitting too low and so she stopped. It's that normal? Is it supposed to be painful? I'm thinking if I can't handle that pain how on earth am I going to handle childbirth 🤦‍♀️ I left without knowing if I'm dilated or not and them saying they'll induce me if I'm still pregnant next week.

How do women go through pregnancy and childbirth alone? Do you ever feel depressed? Me and my baby daddy are not together but I feel the need to be around him even though it hurts me tremendously - I think it’s like a biological baby need or something. I’m just so hurt and I don’t know how to navigate my feelings and what’s fair for the baby.

Sometimes I think we can get scared and codependent .plus it’s like the right thing to do is for him to be involved but take time for yourself to heal from the relationship aspect of things . If you aren’t going to be together you’re going to have to learn to coparent and make it about the baby only . So you can heal . Being so close to the pain can cause confusion, false hope and wounds that never heal . I would highly suggest therapy . Yes it can be hard but find support and find your people , that is your best bet is to focus on how to be as healthy as possible mentally and physically and build a amazing support group that isn’t on a romantic level . I really hope for the best for you love and you can do this ! If you ever need to talk feel free to hit me up 🥰🥰

38w+1 day, and I had my 38w appointment today. I was not dilated at all, but I was 50% softened. It was quite the painful experience.. if I thought this was painful, I’m not sure how I’m gonna do childbirth. Lol this is what has me questioning what did I get myself into😭🥲

Do any of you wonderful ladies have suggestions on how I can manage my lower back pain. Soaking in a bath helps, hot showers help, heating pad helps, but not enough to be comfortable and make it through the night.

Spent 5 hours in the ER last night to be diagnosed with a kidney stone (at home now currently trying to flush it out with lots of water). All the providers there were saying at least childbirth will less painful than what I just went through. Anybody have experience with both and what pain scale would you put them both at?

I would rather push out my child without any drugs hands down than dealing with kidney stones pain. That shit is painful and that's me saying that without having to pass it on my own...I can only imagine the pain then. I had to have surgery.

I work 6 days a week, and when I'm home I rest because my WHOLE body hurts. How can I help manage all this back, and leg pain? I have so much I need to do around the house. I do as much as I can on my 1 day off but I can't do as much as I'd like to. I try to do house work when I get off work but the pain is unbearable. Ive tried tylenol and it only works for like 2 hours and I don't want to take too much. Any advice?

Try epsom salt baths works miracles for body pain associated with pregnancy. Try not to use to much epsom and make sure your bath water is not to hot.

Is there any way you could talk to your employer about possibly having 2 days off instead of 1? I don’t know your situation and therefore if you can’t I understand but a bath would help and a heat pad at nights for your body will work too

First time mom! 21 wks preggo and my ribs are killing me . Right under my boobs and I have no idea how to describe the pain. Is this just my organs being squished to make room for baby ? I didn’t realize how painful pregnancy is .. should I be concerned ?

Had an appointment today girlies ! Doc says I’m all good . There’s no pain when he presses down in the area so it definitely isn’t my ribs . As long as when you’re pressing down it doesn’t hurt , especially by your gallbladder then it’s just another pregnancy symptom . Try stretching and massaging !
