Think I'm going to do just formula and stop breast feeding. It's just so much on my mental health and it's overwhelming trying to breastfeed every 3 and a half hours, formula-bottle feed an hour after that, and pump.

This is how I feel 😭🤦🏾‍♀️ I don’t wanna stop because I know she loves her titty milk but I’m dealing with postpartum along with my boobs being beyond super sore because she’s eating soooooo much like 2oz every hour and I’m not producing a lot of milk so it’s so hard. I wanna try to do half breast half formula but I don’t want her getting an upset stomach

Breastfeeding is a lot of work especially when your newborn is considered younger than normal due to gestational age. And lost like 8% of his weight in t hr hospital due to not wanting to eat. Now having to supplement also. It's just a lot, I almost want to say screw it and feed him formula, but I don't know

I completely understand you. My daughter was born at 36 weeks exactly and was having lots of difficulty taking milk from me and formula due to a tongue tie. And my supply is super low. It really sucks.

My supply just never stays unfortunately I had to supplement and end up giving formula to both my girls and now with my son it’s heading in the same direction I just have a low supply but it’s ok as long as baby is fed! A fed baby is a happy baby don’t beat yourself up or stress yourself out take the best care of yourself and baby 💚

I want to start him on food when he’s 4 months. But how much baby food do I give him and how much formula lol. That’s what I’m confused on. And if anyone making there own? I really don’t wanna give him the baby food jars and when do you go to soft foods?

You can do purées at 4 months but only as snacks. My son’s pediatrician said to start with 1 food and wait a few days to see if it effects baby in any way then you can introduce another food but not to mix anything unless you know they’re not allergic or have any adverse reactions. You can mix either breastmilk if your bf or formula. She said sweet potatoes are a great starter

I'm looking to do my maternity pictures on Feb 5 the same day as my baby shower as well. What's the best and cheapest place to find a maternity dress for photos and baby shower. Don't want to spend alot since I'm only wearing it one time. :)

i don't think you should give up mama, ask for a lactation consultant if you didn't get one or try hand expression or pumping. ❤️

How many scoops of formula should I put in my baby's bottle for it to go up to 6 ounces? 3 and then 3 ounces of water? And yes her doctor said it's fine to increase her formula

The only formula I’ve seen that’s available is the organic/plant based formula so I’m just going to exclusively breastfeed.

So we all know obviously know that it’s been extremely hard to find formula lately, so me and the father have been talking and I’ve decided to switch from formula feeding to breast feeding once little gets here. Any tips or advice would help I’ve already researched which pump I’ve wanted to go with and I’ve decided with momcozy

Biggest suggestion I would say is start pumping now (with okay from doctor because this can induce labor). My biggest struggle with breast feeding was getting that milk to come in fast enough, my baby latched perfectly straight away and not all women get that lucky but milk didn’t come in fast enough and in 1 day dropped 10 oz. Which all babies drop weight after birth that’s normal but that was too much, so I had to supplement formula and then it created this whole issue of him not wanting to breast feed anymore and trying to get him back on the breast once my milk did come in was horrible. But no matter what struggles you may or may not have, you will be so proud of yourself and your baby once you got past those struggles and I truly believe ( may just be me) it created a stronger bond between me and my baby. Good luck girlie.

I have been planning on breastfeeding ever since I found out I was pregnant & probably even before that. & Definitely before I even knew there was a shortage. I've been doing a lot of research on successful breastfeeding. Look up videos on YouTube. Specifically ways for the best latch & ways to get the best milk production. Good luck 🙏🏼
