How long does it take to heal after giving birth?

I had my baby 7/7 by c section. I haven’t took pain meds in 2 days which is good. How long does it actually take for my stitches to heal?

What i have learned at least 5 weeks almost the full 6 was well worth it. For the pool if your not bleeding anymore I think you can

Baby boy got his done at birth less then a week he was heal wasn’t fussy at all they said he did good to.. only thing I didn’t like was that first pee other then that everything was good

That’s good he’s heeled fast! I’m praying he heels fast he just got his done today and my emotional self going through it. That first pee and boo boo had my head hurting 🤦🏽‍♀️ hate they go through that.

Has anyone had their tubes tied? Is it painful? How long does it take to heal? Will it effect the recovery after birthing my baby? Because once my baby is born I’m getting my tubes tied

You can give a lite towel bath but you’ll have to wait at least a week or two because of his belly button and the circumcision.

I am breastfeeding and had a c section. Im 3.5 weeks PP and im bleeding on and off... not even blood blood but thin light pink discharge like. The first day I bled a heavy amount but since then i could wear just a liner all day. The past two days I haven’t even worn any liner.

My son was circumcised and it only took a few weeks to heal...only took about 30 mins for my doctor to do it as well because afterwards he wanted to make sure he could still pee with no problems...he put a little ring around the head to hold in place and after a couple weeks it just fell off in his diaper

It honestly depends on the degree on your tear you might be healed but that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t hurt.

Omg I’m a week and 4 days and I swear that’s what my issue is now. I get burning and stinging around my incision too but I can still hardly lift my leg up to put on the bed. Also peeing still hurts it feels so damn weird and I’m still numb 😩😩

It took me about 2 weeks the first week was the hardest but I got into a routine of taking my pain meds before the pain got too bad and was up and moving around by the second week

yes my ob said it’s normal because the nerves were severed so they are going to take time reattaching. A nurse that works with my ob said it took her 6 months to get complete feeling back.
