Hey Moms ! This is my first pregnancy, so I am always filled with so many questions. I finally get to meet my OB at the first appointment this Monday, however I have no clue what to prepare for. Does anybody have any advice or suggestions on questions that I should ask during my first appointment. Also, would it help to get a midwife on top of my OB? I don’t understand how that all works exactly. But I want as much support as possible.

That’s how I’m feeling. I’m confused on exactly what they do, but from what I’ve been reading it seems that they are more personal and more involved with you during, & even after the pregnancy.

I’m definitely considering looking into it, because I don’t have much female support around me and with this being my first pregnancy I think it will help. I’ll keep you updated on what I find out

Honestly you learn as you go it’s gonna be tough but it’s gonna be worth it. Just have patience and take care of your mental health as well that’s more important as long as you are okay your baby will be just fine.

Just enjoy your pregnancy mama! I’m a first time mom as well and my son is 3w and 3d and he’s perfectly healthy. I luckily had a very easy pregnancy without any symptoms and worried throughout if he was gonna be okay. Don’t stress and soak in every precious pregnancy moment and take a million pictures, they’re sweet reminders of how you felt in that moment. You’re doing great mama and look absolutely beautiful❤️❤️❤️

Hi mommas , I'm new here . My name is Maricelis but ppl call me Mari for short . I found out I was pregnant early. Almost or just about 4 weeks . Haven't had my first baby appointment yet to know exactly . What should I be focusing on during this early stage and what are good healthy snacks to eat ? Thanks in advanced 😊

DO NOT STRESS TOO MUCH! Stress is not healthy for the fetus especially in the early stages when it’s the most delicate time because they baby is still so little! Eat lots of broccoli and fruits for snacks. Broccoli, strawberries, oranges, and bell peppers support the baby’s growth and also improves iron absorption. Foods with iron and rich in calcium are very healthy for you and baby! Also, lots of water! You need to tie in a Gatorade every once in a while also.

what’s the earliest stage to start feeding solids? I am stressing myself out about this formula shortage.. I know the norm is about 6 months but I’ve heard some moms say 4 months, she’s only a month so I still have a very long way to go😭

6 months and showing ALL signs of readiness. That includes sitting up unassisted and holding head up for periods of time. No earlier than that because their gut is not yet mature enough, and it can run the risk of many GI issues in the future. Wait til earliest six months. Some are not even ready for it yet til well after 7+-8+ months.

Don't stress over the formula shortage, there's plenty of great options out there that are healthy and also home made formula is better than what's on store shelves. I have a few recipes that people have used for years. It's okay mama, allow your baby the time and patience to grow and eat properly, don't mess up the digestive system with foods too early.

Is it normal to have multiple symptoms one day and then none the next, then a little one day and back to nothing… Can that mean something is wrong or does is anyone else experiencing or have experienced this during any stage of pregnancy but especially the first few weeks?

I am six weeks and three days today and I’m going through the same situation, I lost a baby July of this year at nine weeks due to never having a heartbeat so it is a little concerning this time around. I googled and asked and Google says it’s normal
