Any tips on drying up milk? We are currently combo feeding. I stopped exclusively bf at 3 months and now she's doing half breastmilk half formula. She keeps the formula down good and I'm ready to stop bf. Everytime I try my boobs hurt so bad. She's slowly getting weaned off but I'm scared to stop cold bc it hurts bad.
Anyone who has breastfed, what’s the transition to breastfeeding to formula like? I genuinely need to find a job and will not be able to pump enough to care for baby as the people who watch her waste my breastmilk like crazy so I need to transition to formula. Was it easier or harder?
I need to vent... So, I've been trying to pump so my son can have breastmilk and formula. I wanted to do the tandem feed for the benefits of both and because I needed a way for my boyfriend to be able to feed our son when I do go back to work in a month and a half. Problem is, I have been super inconsistent with pumping. I'm just so exhausted anymore, I barely sleep, barely eat, and I feel guilty because I feel like if my son doesn't have my breastmilk he'll be worse-off. I feel terrible even thinking about switching to just-formula, and I know fed is best, but I feel anxious that he isn't getting the antibodies he needs without my breastmilk. I don't want to feel terrible for switching to formula-fed... I just do. Please help 🥺
My baby is 2 weeks and I give her breastmilk and formula I pump every two hours and a lot of water could she have formula too if I am not pumping a lot
My 5 pound newborn wasn't latching at the hospital so we were using both breastmilk and formula from the bottle. Now he wants to play with the milk/ formula and doesn't want to fully swallow (he either blows bubbles or holds it in his cheeks). Anyone have any suggestions to get him to fully eat again?
Anyone else can't decide if they want to stop breastfeeding because don't have time to pump or just too tired? But on the other hand don't want to spend money on formula and don't want to get breastmilk from someone else because trust issues lol just me ?
Is it a good idea to start manually pumping and storing breastmilk to avoid formula at the hospital. I know alot of nurses always want to push formula before breastfeeding. Plus im leaking like a dairy cow over here😅
I am 2 weeks pp. Pumping breast milk and bottle feeding. My supply has been running low. Is it okay to mix formula and breastmilk? Or switch between breastmilk and formula? Worried she won't get enough soon.. 😕
Hey. New here. First time mom. I have been breastfeeding my almost 3 week old but she is not gaining weight and we are going to try supplementing with formula. How do you do that exactly? Like feed them breastmilk during the day and then formula after a certain time at night? Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
